A new brochure describes McGill AirFlow's new SilverGuard™ antimicrobial ductwork, with an antimicrobial coating. This ductwork and fitting line is fabricated from coil steel pre-coated with an epoxy that includes an antimicrobial compound. SilverGuard inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew and other fungi in HVAC duct systems, providing long-lasting, durable protection wherever indoor air quality is an issue. It is available in all of McGill AirFlow's duct and fitting types and constructions, including round, flat oval, and rectangular, single-wall, single-wall lined, and double-wall lined duct and fittings.
