FOR RELEASE:
Uni-Gasket fittings help make your ductwork projects more successful and profitable. These fittings will save you money by reducing assembly time about 30 to 40 percent by eliminating joint sealing. Uni-Gasket fittings feature a single-leg EPDM rubber gasket, held in place with a 180° hemmed edge, that provides a reliable, airtight seal. Testing has shown that this design meets or exceeds SMACNAs Class 3 for leakage (-20 inches wg to +20 inches wg). Fittings are secured to the duct with self-tapping screws uniformly located around the circumference as per SMACNA standards.
Fabricated
from G-60 galvanized steel and constructed in accordance with ASTM A643
and A924 specifications, Uni-Gasket fittings meet SMACNAs +10-inch
wg positive pressure standard. Available in single-wall as full-bodied
fittings, couplings, reducers, elbows, and taps in diameters of 3 thorough
24 inches, Uni-Gasket fittings are compatible with all of McGill AirFlows
single-wall, round duct types. Uni-Gasket fittings are available from stock through McGill AirFlow's nationwide Duct Express service. To help you meet tight construction schedules, our Duct Express service stocks the most commonly used sizes of round spiral duct and fittings, all ready for immediate pickup or delivery.
