Airflow and Acoustical Laboratory McGill AirFlow's work begins in the laboratory. To ensure efficient, reliable performance from our products, we conduct airflow and acoustical tests run in accordance with ASHRAE and ASTM standards. Located in Westerville, Ohio, our airflow and acoustical laboratory is the largest facility of its kind operated by a manufacturer of duct and fittings in the United States. Our well-equipped airflow and acoustical laboratories provide us with unparalleled testing capabilities for evaluating airflow components. In our airflow laboratory, we conduct tests to determine friction loss, bursting and collapsing strength, shape stability, and static load. Our acoustical laboratory enables our engineers to conduct transmission loss, sound absorption, and insulation loss testing on noise control products. This laboratory can generate 100,000 cfm for airflow and acoustical testing.
With this testing facility, we have developed industry-accepted performance standards for airflow systems. We provide you with the data you need to make dependable performance guarantees. |
